UAE Cultural Week in Paris – Speaker & Cultural Contributor

In October 2018, I was honored to be invited as a speaker and cultural contributor for UAE Cultural Week in Paris, an initiative under the UAE-France Cultural Dialogue 2018/2019. Organized by the Ministry of Culture & Knowledge Development, the program showcased the creative and cultural synergy between the UAE and France, featuring art exhibitions, film screenings, culinary experiences, and insightful panel discussions.

As part of this prestigious event, I participated in the Dubai: A Thriving Arts Scene panel, hosted by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, alongside key figures in the UAE’s creative sector. This discussion explored:

• The evolution of Dubai’s contemporary arts scene and its growing influence.

• The impact of Sikka Art Fair in fostering artist-led initiatives and grassroots engagement.

• The broader role of cultural collaboration in strengthening the UAE’s global creative footprint.

The panel was attended by prominent cultural leaders, including H.H. Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, whose presence reinforced the UAE’s commitment to supporting artistic and cultural exchange.

This experience exemplifies my role as a cultural strategist, speaker, and advocate for the creative economy, shaping conversations that bridge heritage, innovation, and global cultural diplomacy.
